LINK BETWEEN THE USE OF CHLORINE IN SWIMMING POOLS AND ASTHMA IN CHLORINE

LINK BETWEEN THE USE OF CHLORINE IN SWIMMING POOLS AND ASTHMA IN CHLORINE
Researchers have warned that the use of chlorine to disinfect water in swimming pools can be covered behind the increase in asthma among children, and reached a new study that there was a relationship between the use of covered swimming pools on a regular basis and the destruction of barriers that protect the cells of the lungs, not less damage to the lungs Children most commonly used for swimming pools on the harmful effects of smoking. The researchers said their findings raise questions about whether to use the disinfectant is chlorine in the future when chlorine reacts with organic matter such as urine or sweat can lead to the production of secondary materials such as third-nitrogen chloride which is characterized by its impact strong irritant of the cells. The researchers participating in the The study led by Dr. Alfred Bernard of the Catholic University of Leuven in Brussels, measured levels of lung proteins that relate to damage caused to cells in the blood of 226 primary school students. The team also participated in the study, published in the journal «Occupational and Environmental Medicine» analysis of blood samples 16 children aged five to 14 years and 13 adults between the ages of 26 and 47 years before and after disembarking the swimming pool to see how quickly the influence of a third nitrogen chloride cells. Finally, researchers studied the prevalence of asthma among children, using the data from a study that included about 000 , 2 children aged seven to 14 years conducted between 1996 and 1999, the study found that emission of swimming pools on a regular basis a close relationship to the destruction of tissues of the respiratory system is the cellular barriers that protect the lungs from the inside.

  1. I agree with AbdulSalam, according to Dutch research which was conducted by Abvakabo Nederland, employees which were working at swimming pools were the most affected by the disinfectants. Since they spent most of their time at the swimming pools, their chances to receive and inhale more chlorine products are higher compare to swimmers that just spend few hours time there. When the swimming pool was disinfect with chlorine gas would produce hydrochloric acid with sunlight. This would caused the pH value of water. This will affect swimmers and cause abrasion to their teeth.Part of the research also shown that employees sometimes suffers from fatigue, eczema, eye irritations, frontal sinus inflammation and also chronic colds. It is recommended that salt can be used to replace chlorine. Salt which is cheaper, reacts softer to the skin and the salt system do the monitoring and cleaning themselves. Below are the article relates witih salt system

However, does it consider as a perfect solution to this problem?

  2. Chlorine in the water has profit for us because we will protect from bacteria and microb.but dose of utilization is so important because more usage lead to sick and perhaps death.
but it is solloution of water pollutant.
